 The Founder

Corinne’s culinary journey began at just 13 years old, sparked by a dream to one day run her own restaurant or catering company. Inspired by her uncle, a successful chef, she started by lending a hand in the kitchen, helping her mom prepare family dinners. It didn’t take long for her to discover a deep love for cooking—one that would shape her future.

From high school cooking classes to enrolling in the acclaimed culinary arts program at Vancouver Community College (VCC), Corinne embraced every opportunity to grow her skills. She earned her Red Seal Certification with top marks and showcased her talent in the prestigious black box competition, proving her creativity and precision under pressure.

Her early career took her through a variety of kitchens in restaurants and hotels, where long hours and demanding standards helped refine her craft. Eventually, she found her home at Casalinga Foods. Driven by a passion for Italian cuisine and a deep respect for local ingredients, Corinne has always believed in the power of simplicity and quality. Her three signature soups are a reflection of that philosophy; nourishing, flavourful, and made with wholesome, locally sourced ingredients. Each of her heirloom recipes offers a comforting taste of Italy while supporting the community around her. For Corinne she’s committed to creating meals that bring people together and contribute to a healthier, more connected way of life. Through her brand she’s sharing her passion for excellence—one bowl at a time.

REVIEW

“The Sicilian Spicy Green Lentil Soup is my new go-to comfort food. It has just the right amount of kick and the depth of flavour makes it tastes authentically homemade. You can tell quality ingredients went into this.”
